SupplyBistro — how it works

Sell to more clients.
Buy from people you can see.
Keep more of every order.

SupplyBistro connects food and beverage businesses so they can sell more and buy smarter on the same account. Most companies here are on both sides of the market at once — in food, everybody buys to sell.

How it works

Seven things worth knowing before you open an account — what changes for you as a seller, and what changes for you as a buyer.

Sell more, buy smarter

More buyers, more channels to reach them, and better data on what each one reorders. On the other side of the same account, purchasing gets the same treatment: what to reorder, from whom, and before you run out.

You sellYou grow the top line without growing headcount.
You buyLess manual follow-up, and fewer things you find out about too late.
SELLERS WHAT THE PLATFORM DOES BUYERS More buyers, more channels list once, sell in several places Demand data by SKU see what sells, and to whom Automated repeat ordering less manual follow-up Inventory and stockouts act before low stock is a problem Vendor management contracts, messages, performance You sell more without hiring a sales team You buy smarter fewer stockouts, less waste

One account works in both directions. You do not need a second one to start buying.

Keep more of every sale

Marketing, retail margins and incentives usually take 15–30% of a sale. The SupplyBistro fee is 2–5%, added to the buyer’s cart at checkout. Nothing is charged up front and nothing comes out of the seller’s pocket.

You sellKeep the difference as margin, or pass it to your buyer as a better price. Your call.
You buyYou’re paying for the product, not for someone’s ad budget.

Both bars are drawn at the same height on purpose: the price has not moved, so the saving is the seller’s to allocate — keep it, or lower the price with it.

Payments run through Stripe and go directly to the seller. Standard payment processing charges apply separately.

On marketplaces run by an administrator — a chamber of commerce, a university, an association — the administrator’s share is added on top. Where the marketplace is owned by the seller and the seller generates the demand, no administrator share applies.

Detailed pricing is set out separately.

Direct deals

The seller ships and delivers straight to the buyer. SupplyBistro never handles the goods and never holds the funds — payment goes from the buyer to the seller. A marketplace administrator hosts its market; it does not run your transaction.

You sellYou keep the customer relationship, and the customer is yours.
You buyYou’re buying from a real company, with recourse against a real company.
